360s

360 Panovision photos.

There are a multitude of uses for 360 photographs and videos, from giving a trainee both sides of an experience, analyzing a situation from all angles, to helping a client walk through your site or experience. In this instance though, sit back and contemplate both Luke Jerram's Palm Temple and the extinction bell that rings 150 to 200 times a day to signify the loss of another species. I only wish I could add the smell of Cedar wood that permeates the air. This is certainly a good space for thoughtfulness and serendipity to occur.

360 shot videos hosted in Vimeo.

Shot with the same specialist equipment as the 360 Panovision photos, two simultaneous overlapping videos are recorded and seamlessly stitched together to create a video that can be viewed from any angle. While the processing power and time to create these videos is very intensive they can create a result like no other. The end results can be used to create a more creative and virtual feel for you story, where the viewer may re-watch the same video again and again. It is also possible to deliver a traditional video with this same set up, but actually choose the best camera angle by selecting it after recording and then fixing the video to that view!
